Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
Three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
One year of experience in an ambulatory, outpatient, school or college health setting.
CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Experience with and a moderate comfort level using a personal computer.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Experience administering allergy injections.
Experience administering routine immunizations.
Experience performing tuberculosis screening tests.

Experience using electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Provides allergy injections, immunizations, tuberculosis screening, and travel counseling in accordance with established protocols.
Demonstrates professionalism and commitment to quality care by adhering to customer service standards, respecting patient rights and confidentiality, following policies and procedures, and actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Provides tuberculosis education and monitors patients with latent TB infection.
Uses electronic medical record to communicate lab and x-ray results.
Provides input on policies and procedures.
Maintains a level of knowledge conducive to providing high quality patient care.
Maintains patient electronic health records.
Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance pattern.
Opportunity to participate in special projects, public speaking, and nursing committees.
Provides input on policies and procedures.
Other related functions as assigned.
