About The Position

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. Our Progressive Care Unit 3B (PCU) is a mixed specialty unit with a variety of surgical, medical, and cardiac patients. The patients in this area require progressive close monitoring as they are at high risk for status changes. The Registered Nurses on this unit create, nurture, and sustain a healthy work environment with a focus on the patient, where staff members take ownership of decisions in which top quality outcomes are achieved. On this 11-bed unit, Registered Nurses primarily care for patients with respiratory failure, sepsis and shock, heart failure, renal failure, stable post-op ENT surgeries, and stroke. As a Registered Nurse you will work in collaboration with the hospitalist team, PT/OT, case management, patient/family liaison, and multiple other disciplines to ensure our patients are receiving excellent care.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of RN experience.
• Associates of Nursing (ASN).
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be made for candidates with more than two years of acute care experience, subject to CNO approval).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Multiple RNs with PCCN certifications.
• Multiple DAISY, sunshine, and Lasting Impression nominees and 2 winners in 2023.
• 2.5 years CAUTI free.
