The Adult Intensive Care/Progressive Care Unit is a mixed specialty unit with a variety of cardiac and medical critically ill patients. The nurses on this unit create, nurture, and sustain a healthy work environment with a focus on the patient. Our team members take ownership of decisions in which top quality outcomes are achieved. On this 12-bed unit, nurses primarily care for respiratory failure, ARDS, sepsis, and shock, DKA, heart failure, renal failure, STEMIs, and strokes. As a Registered Nurse you will work in collaboration with both our intensivists and hospitalist team, PT/OT, case management, patient/family liaison, and multiple other disciplines to ensure our patients are receiving excellent care.
