About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Adult Behavioral Health department at Ascension Via Christi St Joseph in Wichita, KS. The schedule is Full-Time, Day Shift, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available. Associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through an academic partnership with Wichita State University.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to capture a patient’s needs and strengths.
• Conduct or co-lead group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to design and refine patient care goals.
• Implement and adjust nursing care plans in real-time.
