Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) is a 70-bed facility serving residents of over 7 counties, including North Carolina. CMH is a Primary Stroke Center. The Acute Care unit has three nursing units totaling 54 beds, serving a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics, including medical, telemetry, and surgical patients. The average nurse to patient ratio is 1:4, with additional support from patient care technicians, patient safety associates, unit secretaries, and cardiac monitor technicians. The Clinical Nurse III job demonstrates clinical knowledge at the unit level and applies it to specific patient populations, assisting the healthcare team with illness prevention, wellness maintenance, and comfort.
