About The Position

Wellstar is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute Care Oncology in Augusta. This role is part of a team dedicated to enhancing health and well-being through compassionate service, pursuit of excellence, and honoring every voice. The Registered Nurse serves as the front-line representative of the patient care team, acting as an intermediary between patients, families, providers, and other care team members. This position is expected to participate in performance improvement initiatives, maintain professional competence, develop others, uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, and support Shared Governance.

Requirements

Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
One year of nursing experience is required for PRN.

Responsibilities

Monitors, examines, and evaluates patients' conditions.
Assists with the care plan and takes appropriate actions to promote patient outcomes and well-being.
Delivers care plan as outlined, applying independent judgment where appropriate.

Prioritizes and coordinates daily patient flow and patient experience.
