About The Position
The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Registered/eligible with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
- Must bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
