About The Position
The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the nursing unit manager or director of nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Interpersonal skills
- Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
- Ability to communicate with clients from diverse social backgrounds
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships/partnerships
- Ability to be proactive and creative in decision making
- Ability to competently use computers and software applications
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Must be available for a minimum of 1 to 4 days per week.
- Must be available all shifts which include, short shifts, short notice calls, statutory or designated holidays.
