About The Position

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity for 1 RN at the Intensive Behavior Center (IBC) in Boulder, Montana. The IBC is an intensive, short-term treatment facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This 12-bed facility provides an environment for building healthy, effective, and fulfilling lives so those receiving treatment can live successfully in the community after discharge. Registered Nurses (RNs) provide assistance and support to clients in a therapeutic environment. This position performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for the adult clients in the facility. This position is eligible for a hiring incentive up to $7,500. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or university degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana or eligible to obtain Montana licensure.
• Three years of job-related work experience.
• Knowledge of nursing, medications, and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of client’s rights regarding medical treatment.
• Ability to plan and implement appropriate nursing care interventions.
• Ability to provide client assessment and appropriate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to clients in a therapeutic environment.
• Perform nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients in the facility.
