DOC is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Registered Nurse 2 (RN2) for Washington Corrections Center located in Shelton. Registered Nurses will receive shift differential in the amount of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour for evening shift and night shift work. Employees may also qualify for one or both of these supplemental shift premiums in addition to the above. - A. One dollar ($1.00) per hour during any hours assigned to work from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. - B. Three dollars ($3.00) per hour during any hours worked from Friday midnight to Sunday midnight. WCC is the Reception and Diagnostic Center, a close-custody facility with the primary responsibility to process, test, and classify all adult male incarcerated individuals sentenced to prison in Washington State. The facility has seven living units and the capacity to house more than 1,700 incarcerated individuals. Approximately 500 incarcerated individuals are screened and assessed each month. WCC also serves as a hub for transfer of incarcerated individuals to and from facilities throughout the state.
