About The Position

This Registered Nurse 2 position in the Outpatient Plastic Surgery unit at Vanderbilt Health focuses on applying the nursing process to plan and manage the care of complex patients comprehensively. The role involves assisting in developing and meeting key Pillar outcomes and system improvement goals, including financial, satisfaction, and clinical objectives, as part of the nursing component of the case management triad model. The nurse will facilitate appropriate follow-up care and refer patients to the correct next level or site of care, serving as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to ensure safe and equitable healthcare provision. This role ensures evidence-based care and continuously monitors patient outcomes, while also furthering professional growth through learning activities aligned with Board of Nursing standards.

Responsibilities
