About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main OR Cardiac Surgery unit. This role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will communicate patient information to the healthcare team, collaborate on patient goals, and evaluate progress. The position also emphasizes professional growth through continuous learning. Key responsibilities include collaborating on the plan of care, coordinating and implementing care delivery, and anticipating patient needs. The nurse will analyze patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient progress and apply interventions. Requirements

  • Relevant Work Experience

  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
