You are in the right place! We have an opening for a full time PH Registered Nursing 1 position at the following clinic location: Norcross Health Center (5030 Georgia Belle Court, Suite 2071. Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- completion of a PHN course within one year of hire
- current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license
- CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- One year of Public Health nursing setting
- Bilingual – any language (Spanish preferred)
- Experience utilizing an electronic health record and MS office
- Experience in a customer service role
Responsibilities
- perform comprehensive assessment of clients’ health care needs
- develop comprehensive plans of care for clients
- administer treatments, medications, vaccines and preventive and maintenance care to patients and families, consistent with plan of care and/or physician treatment plan
- provide health teaching and instruction to individuals, families and groups
- provides school-related health care services
- provide services in an expanded nursing role in Women’s Health, STD, Refugee and Child Health programs
- provide immunizations and oversee LPN staff provision of immunizations
- perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational needs and support overall community health and wellness
