You are in the right place! We have an opening for a full time PH Registered Nursing 1 position at the following clinic location: Norcross Health Center (5030 Georgia Belle Court, Suite 2071. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • completion of a PHN course within one year of hire
  • current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license
  • CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • One year of Public Health nursing setting
  • Bilingual – any language (Spanish preferred)
  • Experience utilizing an electronic health record and MS office
  • Experience in a customer service role

Responsibilities

  • perform comprehensive assessment of clients’ health care needs
  • develop comprehensive plans of care for clients
  • administer treatments, medications, vaccines and preventive and maintenance care to patients and families, consistent with plan of care and/or physician treatment plan
  • provide health teaching and instruction to individuals, families and groups
  • provides school-related health care services
  • provide services in an expanded nursing role in Women’s Health, STD, Refugee and Child Health programs
  • provide immunizations and oversee LPN staff provision of immunizations
  • perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational needs and support overall community health and wellness
