Functions as a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, continues to build competency in the provision of direct patient care. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services. Provide direct care to patients in a fast-paced challenging environment working for the region's only level one trauma center and the leader for emergency care services. Candidates must demonstrate top-notch interpersonal skills, effective communication, strong prioritization, and organizational skills. During the residency, candidates will be provided didactic, simulation, and hands-on clinical training on a wide variety of clinical skills and medical conditions. Schedule flexibility is a must. Requirements

  • Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program
  • An active New York State RN license in good standing.
  • Applicants will have less than 6-12 months of RN experience.
  • Candidates must demonstrate top-notch interpersonal skills, effective communication, strong prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Schedule flexibility is a must.
