Requirements

Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the provincial licensing body
Certification as a Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) or Enterostomal Therapist or International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) or Canadian Nurse Associate Certification (WOCC)
Debridement Certification
Advanced wound care expertise
Two years previous experience in the development of wound care management programs in the hospital or community setting
Current CPR certification
Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening)
Negative TB test
Valid driver’s license
Auto insurance
Reliable vehicle
May be required to provide proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu etc., dependent upon Provincial government regulations and position
