About The Position
Spring Oak Senior Living at Warrenton is seeking a caring, dependable, and qualified Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join their team on the full-time evening shift. This is a full-time position for the evening shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be passionate about senior care and committed to providing safe medication assistance and compassionate, resident-centered support. The Warrenton community is a small, close-knit assisted living community with 35 apartments and 41 licensed beds, allowing for meaningful relationships.
Requirements
- Current Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in assisted living, or senior living is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting dignity and independence.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Help create a positive, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
