Registered Medication Aide (RMA) Lead
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Registered Medication Aide (RMA) Lead supports the coordination of the medication aide and nursing aide schedule. This role involves assisting with various clerical duties, delivering exceptional and individualized care based on resident care plans, and reporting changes in resident health status to the clinical team. The RMA Lead is expected to connect with residents and family members compassionately, creating positive experiences, and engage in continuous learning and development. Compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations is essential, along with performing any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Registered Medication Aide (RMA) program in the State of Virginia
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Supports coordination of the medication aide and nursing aide schedule
- Assists with various clerical duties as requested
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
