Requirements
- Registered Massage Therapy Diploma, professional registration and Valid Liability Insurance
- A thirst for knowledge, learning and “hands on” experience - we encourage recent graduates to apply!
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods of time with mobility and flexibility in massage applications
- Ability to endure strength and dexterity in repetitive motions
- Excellent customer service skills in Hospitality and/or Retail
- Good physical stamina
- A positive customer service approach to attract returning customers
Responsibilities
- Exercise qualified and professional treatments in accordance with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario standards
- Maintain regulatory standards of hygiene
- Ensure proper sanitization of equipment and supplies
- Maintain a professional service with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Advise clients on skincare and body care treatments and regimes
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in spa and massage therapy practices.
- Complete and maintain up to date treatment records
