Requirements

Registered Mammography Technologist, required.
Ability to perform bone density, x-ray and mammography procedures.
RT (R)(M) certification required.
2-3 years’ experience as a Mammography Technologist.
Meditech EMR experience.
PACS, MQSA, and ACR knowledge of guidelines.
BLS, required.
1-2 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized professional patient care in mammography services.
Work in a teamwork environment.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have good communication skills to compassionately and accurately explain to the patient what they are about to experience.
Communicate effectively with physicians.
Use fax machine, photocopier, and computer scanner.
Schedule patients for mammograms.
