About The Position

The Emerge Center and School for Autism in Baton Rouge invites compassionate individuals to join our team as Full-Time Registered Line Technicians. This position offers you the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals with autism while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Registered Line Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to children and individuals on the autism spectrum. Working closely under the supervision of licensed professionals in our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) department, you will deliver impactful interventions designed to promote the growth and development of essential skills. Your responsibilities will include providing direct client care in both one-on-one and group settings, implementing individualized treatment plans, and assisting clients with communication, behavioral, social, and self-help skills. Requirements

  • Recent graduate in Applied Behavior Analysis or experienced Registered Line Technician
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Professionalism in all interactions with clients and their families
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and development
  • Must pass state and federal background checks
  • Must pass a drug test

Responsibilities

  • Providing direct client care in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Assisting clients with communication, behavioral, social, and self-help skills
  • Following treatment plans and protocols diligently
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and behavior
  • Collaborating with families and caregivers to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the therapeutic process
  • Participating in training sessions
  • Actively engaging in supervision to enhance skills
