About The Position
The Medical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for processing, embedding, cutting, staining H&E's, special stains, frozen section on surgical and autopsy material. Candidate may be asked to perform a practical test to assess their technical abilities.
Requirements
- Current Registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
- Successful completion of an accredited MLT program
- Current (minimum 3 years) experience in all aspects of Histology
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the Meditech Laboratory Information system
