About The Position

This position exists to provide support to the EEG Lab in conjunction with the Medical Director and with the Department Director. Primary responsibility is to perform technically, and clinically accurate EEG tests as ordered by the Physicians in the clinical Neuro-diagnostic lab, all ICU settings and patient floors. Other duties assigned by the Department Director. Report directly to the Department Director and to the Medical Director.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited EEG, PSG or RT Technology Program (R.EEG T, RPSGT or RST or RRT) required.
• High School Diploma - OR - GED
• BLS Certification
• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.

Nice To Haves

• Two years' experience within the last 3 years in electroencephalographic/Polysomnographic testing or Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program is preferred.
• Relevant Hospital/Pediatric Experience
