About The Position

The Parks and Recreation Department of the Township of Russell is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). The RECE reports to the Daycare Supervisor and is responsible for delivering an educational program that includes activities geared toward children's development, health, security, and well-being. This role ensures professional and efficient management of the programming and activities of the service.

Requirements

College diploma in Early Childhood Education or in the process of obtaining an equivalent qualification through an apprenticeship program
Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario
Valid and Negative Criminal Record Check - Vulnerable Sector (within six months)
Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Must be 18 years or older
Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading and writing of French

Nice To Haves

English proficiency would be considered an asset
