About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. The role focuses on supporting residents' health and well-being through individualized nutrition care, education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible schedules. The role may provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs and as desired.

Requirements

• Be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Hold a certification or license in good standing within the state of practice.
• Have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customer requirements.
• If serving as a multi-site registered dietitian, hold a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
• RD-eligible status and provisional state licensure are accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' and patients' clinical nutrition needs and develop and document plans in the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine plans of care that improve residents' and patients' overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs and as desired.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
