About The Position

SSM Health Neuro Transitional Center, a joint venture between Select Medical and SSM Health, is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their team on a PRN basis. This role involves providing dietary consultations for patients as needed, within 48 hours of order, focusing on patients recommended by the transdisciplinary team. The dietitian will also be responsible for menu planning, ensuring compliance with the NTC Neuro Recovery Plate (brain-healthy diet), considering individual patient needs, and delivering staff and patient education on nutrition. Time on site includes education and menu review, and potentially consults.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree with major studies in Food and Nutrition related field required
• Current state licensure/certification - if required by state
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration required
• One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent required
