About The Position

Bring your Passion for Dietetics to Sodexo on our Clinical Nutrition Team! We are seeking a Fulltime Registered Dietitian to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. Our client, Birmingham Green, is a CCRC in the beautiful Northern Virginia area. Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials and license in Virginia
• Attention to detail, and self-starter.
• Confidence in leading, influencing, and partnering across teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with seniors.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or healthcare nutrition setting.
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nutrition care to long-term care, and memory care.
• Conduct quality improvement initiatives such as test trays and meal rounds
• Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
• Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences
• Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff support the food service operation as needed
• Work collaboratively with onsite dining leadership
