About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Registered Dietitian to serve as a vital member of patients’ core care teams in an intimate outpatient setting. The dietitian analyzes lab results and educates patients and their families about appropriate nutrition. The role involves building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families, contributing to a supportive team environment, and supporting patient health through clinical goal-setting and quality-improvement initiatives. This is a float position requiring travel between clinics in Modesto, Turlock, Atwater, Merced, and Los Banos, California. A $5,000 retention package is offered. The salary range is $88,400–$130,000 per year; compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.

Requirements

At least 12 months of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical nutrition setting.
State licensure is required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area.
Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly across multiple facilities, and travel when needed.
After hire and training, successfully complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.

Responsibilities
