About The Position

DaVita is looking for a Registered Dietitian (RD) to help educate our patients and their families in the Huber Heights and Springfield, OH area! Provide service and education to dialysis patients and their families by supporting through the patient’s nutritional well-being. Requirements

State licensure as required by the State of Ohio
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required
1 year of Clinical Dietitian experience required
Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday (8am-5pm) – no weekends or holidays! – this position will be 30 hours per week.
Comfortable working between two clinical locations in Huber Heights and Springfield, OH – mileage compensation provided.
Comfortable traveling within the Greater Dayton area when needed to help support the Dietitian team.
After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days

Responsibilities

Provide service and education to dialysis patients and their families by supporting through the patient’s nutritional well-being.
Analyze lab-work results to educate patients and their families on what to eat based on their individualized needs and care
Evaluate comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments consistent with CMS regulations.
Assess on-going nutritional status to determine appropriate nutrition interventions and recommendations.
