About The Position

DaVita is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join their amazing Chico team. This role is a vital member of each patient’s core care team, analyzing lab-work results and educating patients and their families on appropriate dietary choices. The position requires the ability to influence and lead patients to help them live better lives. The role is in an intimate outpatient setting where building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families is key. DaVita is a clinical leader with a high percentage of facilities meeting or exceeding CMS's standards. They expect nurses to commit to improving patient health through clinical goal-setting and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required.
Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed.
After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required.
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days.
