About The Position

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. The role focuses on providing individualized nutritional care and supporting residents’ health and well-being. The position is Monday through Friday, with flexible schedules. Coverage across multiple buildings may be provided based on company needs and as desired.

Requirements

• Be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Hold a certification or license in good standing within the state of practice.
• Have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• For multi-site Registered Dietitians, hold a valid driver’s license.
• RD-Eligible applicants and provisional state licensure are accepted in certain locations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’/patients’ clinical nutrition needs and develop and document plans in the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans using clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine plans of care that improve residents’/patients’ overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs and as desired.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
