Monte Nido Glen Cove is a residential treatment program for adults with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. The program focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, promoting healthy eating and exercise, eliminating harmful behaviors, and fostering motivation and treatment engagement. The goal is to help clients understand their eating/exercise disorder and its impact, and to guide them toward personal recovery. We are seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian to join the Monte Nido team. The Registered Dietitian is a vital part of the leadership and clinical teams, collaborating with all disciplines for optimal client care. This role is suitable for recent graduates, dietetic interns from accredited programs, and early-career nutrition professionals eligible for the CDR exam and state licensure. Nutrition programming is based on core principles of health, freedom from eating disordered behaviors, and developmentally appropriate progression towards self-trust and internally-directed eating. Clients progress from early stages of food relationship repair to later stages of growth and expansion into a recovered life. Our HAES-informed nutritional care includes: - Recognition that healthy, recovered people come in all shapes and sizes - Nourishment and satiety for all bodies - Behavior-focused, rather than weight-focused philosophies - Awareness that weight loss attempts are contraindicated for eating disorder recovery - Open and accessible kitchens and food environments that mimic a homelike setting.
