About The Position
Ball HealthCare is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team in our Mobile, Alabama market. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of facility Dietary departments in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing, and as may be directed by the Administrators, to ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and the dietary departments are maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. Requirements
- Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD)
- Must have Supervisory and Management experience
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must maintain the confidentiality of the residents
- Must have a comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of three years Long-Term Care work experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of facility Dietary departments.
- Ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis.
- Maintain dietary departments in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
- Coordinate dietary services and activities with nursing services and other related departments.
- Assist in developing diet plans for residents.
- Create budgets and ensure the facilities meet health and safety code requirements.
