Remote Registered Dietitian (RD) Clinical Research – PRN/ Per Deim
About The Position
EmVenio Research is hiring per diem Registered Dietitians for virtual clinical-trial visits. The company provides in-home clinical trial services and hires, trains, certifies, tests, and manages its own Registered Dietitians. No research experience is required; on-the-job training and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification training are provided. The Registered Dietitian performs the full scope of dietitian practice, including virtual lifestyle counseling to improve nutrition and dietary quality, support mental health and coping skills, and build health behaviors and lifestyle habits aligned with participants’ goals and values. The role schedules participant appointments within required appointment windows, completes virtual visits, and works with Clinical Project Managers and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documents on time. Dietitians are also expected to stay informed about nutrition and food health updates and perform additional duties as needed. The standard rate is $50 per hour, with additional pay for commute, mileage, training, and administrative work.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current state dietitian license or certification in good standing, if applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was before January 1, 2024.
- Graduate degree from an accredited dietetics program if the CDR examination was on or after January 1, 2024.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual lifestyle counseling to improve nutrition and dietary quality, mental health, coping skills, and health behaviors aligned with participants’ goals and values.
- Schedule appointments with subjects within required appointment windows.
- Complete virtual visits for clinical-trial subjects.
- Work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documents in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about the latest nutrition and food health updates.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
