About The Position

The Registered Dietitian will work with the and Diabetes Education program to provide evidence-based disease self-management and education to individuals living with type 2 diabetes, and pre-diabetes. The main site of work will be the North Lambton Community Health Centre.

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in Foods and Nutrition from a recognized university.
• Possess current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario (temporary licenses will also be considered).
• Demonstrated skills in facilitating groups, team skills, and effective communication.
• Demonstrated knowledge of community-based health care and resources and the determinants of health.
• Experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Flexible hours of work are required.
• The incumbent may be required to travel to all sites and outreach locations throughout Lambton County.

Nice To Haves

• CDE certification, an asset but not required.
• Proficiency in French is considered an asset
