About The Position
RD Nutrition Consultants, LLC is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for a retirement community setting. Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (required)
- Comfortable with electronic documentation and remote work tools
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high clinical standards
- Commitment to resident-centered care and professional ethics
Nice To Haves
- Experience in assisted living, retirement communities, or long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Review and approve menus for regular and therapeutic diets to ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance
- Identify residents at nutritional risk and complete nutrition assessments as needed
- Conduct periodic kitchen and food service audits to evaluate safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Collaborate with culinary and care teams to enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction
- Provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations and follow-up as appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
