About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s to complete weekly onsite visits with an additional assisted living facility requiring quarterly visits at 5.5 hours. RD will be responsible for food safety and sanitation audits, dining audits and clinical referrals. Community average of 24 hours per month. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs. Since our establishment in 1994, we have been nurturing joy through food with long-term care dining programs. Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
Licensed (if required by State)
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience is preferred, but we will consider many factors.
Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Complete weekly onsite visits with an additional assisted living facility requiring quarterly visits at 5.5 hours.
Responsible for food safety and sanitation audits.
Responsible for dining audits.
Responsible for clinical referrals.
Improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards.
Work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of the residents.
Provide nutrition education.
Work on an MDS with the team.
Formulate nutrition assessment with input from your dining manager.
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff.
Assist with policy development.
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems.
