Level2 is building the next generation of virtual care for individuals with chronic conditions including Type 2 diabetes. This business is dedicated to empowering patients to manage and achieve remission of their condition through an end-to-end virtual care offering. As an employee of Level2, you can expect to be a part of a dynamic organization that is fast-paced and driven by our vision to change the way healthcare is delivered for millions of individuals nationwide. This position reports directly to the Registered Dietitian (RD) Team Lead. The RD will work closely in collaboration with other members of the Level2 Care Team, including Lifestyle Coaches, Nurses, Providers, Support and Enrollment teams to achieve member outcomes and contribute to the success of the Level 2 business. The Level2 RD is responsible for conducting RD referral visits for Level2 members using telephonic, video and potentially group education platforms. Referrals for RD visits are made from the care team for in-depth nutrition education and MNT for diabetes and related comorbidities, such as cardiovascular health and chronic kidney disease. Referrals entail a blend of coaching skills and nutrition education expertise (MNT) to help promote behavior change. Registered Dietitians must understand how to interpret and educate to members’ CGM data, disease state information, biometrics, and other data that may be available to understand a member’s health conditions. There may be projects the RD will be involved in depending on business needs, including group coaching, contributing to newsletter content, the development of educational resources and nutritional trainings. RD’s are expected to maintain their RD licensure during employment with L2. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Candidates must be available to work Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST (3 days/week) and 11:00 am-7:00 pm CST (2 days /week)
