About The Position

Compass Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to support their skilled nursing facilities. This full-time position involves providing nutrition assessments, developing care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with Title 22 and CMS regulations. The role is based in San Luis Obispo, CA, but requires commuting between facilities in Morro Bay, Templeton, San Luis Obispo, and Arroyo Grande.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
• Must be willing to float between facilities
• Must be able to pass background check, reference checks, physical, back and TB screening

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care experience preferred
• Knowledge of Title 22 and CMS regulations preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete nutrition assessments and care plans
• Monitor residents' nutritional status and weight changes
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in care conferences, QAPI, and quality improvement activities
• Support food service operations and regulatory compliance
• Educate dietary staff through monthly in-services
