Carolina SeniorCare is a P.A.C.E. (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly). A career at Carolina SeniorCare is a calling to help others in their community and help elderly participants (55 or older) stay and live in their respective communities. P.A.C.E. offers a wide variety of services to fulfill this mission such as medical services to medications, from nutritious meals to transportation – all personalized to meet the participant’s specific needs! Under the supervision of the Center Administrator, the Registered Dietitian screens and assesses participant nutritional status for Carolina SeniorCare. Uses pertinent data to plan and implement appropriate nutrition interventions and communicates the information to the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure the nutritional needs of the participants are met. Performs nutritional assessment and provides nutritional education for Carolina SeniorCare participants requiring interventions. Coordinates serving of meals; monitors/coordinates kitchen facilities to ensure standards are met. Coordinates with contracted meal services to ensure meals meet the needs of the Carolina SeniorCare participants. Provides education to other health care professionals as appropriate. Provides direction and supervision to Food Services Supervisor.
