About The Position
Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian to be part of our Clinical Team in Hendersonville, NC. Newly hired Part Time Registered Dietitians are eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $2,500 based on service length agreement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition required or equivalent Bachelor’s in a related field from an accredited school.
- Currently a Registered Dietitian through the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current certification as a Licensed Nutritionist and licensed to practice in state of North Carolina.
- One to two years of supervised training and experience working as a Registered Dietitian.
- Experience in working in ambulatory care setting
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate nutritional status of individuals and provide nutrition counseling and consulting to individuals, as well as collaborating with health professionals within the organization.
- Study and analyze current scientific nutritional studies to assist in developing standards, guides for use in Blue Ridge Community Health Services.
- Plan, evaluate and conduct nutrition education programs and develop educational materials for various audiences and at all BRCHS sites.
- Responsible for supporting organizational mission and goal achievement, organization quality goals, and providing safe, patient-center care.
