About The Position

The Wave International is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our Clinical Services team. This position provides nutrition counseling, dietary assessments, and nutrition-focused programming for clients in a residential behavioral health treatment setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical and culinary staff to ensure clients receive individualized nutrition support that aligns with their recovery goals. This role includes both in-person services and virtual (telehealth) support for multiple facilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Active Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist License, or ability to obtain before start date
Current CPR Certification
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential treatment, or related clinical settings
Experience facilitating psychoeducational or wellness groups
Comfortable providing services both in person and via telehealth

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for newly admitted clients
Develop individualized nutrition care plans and recommendations
Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and follow-up sessions
Facilitate 2-4 nutrition education groups per week
Monitor client progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews
Collaborate with culinary and clinical staff regarding dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutrition recommendations
Provide telehealth consultations and support across Wave facilities
Maintain timely and accurate documentation
