About The Position

Come join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking to hire a Registered Dietitian.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration through the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
• MS or BS degree plus completion of a dietetic internship program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care.
• Knowledge of current best practices in medical nutrition therapy.
• Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS and standards impacting Clinical Nutrition department in Long-Term Care.
• Excellent client services, organization and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with the Clinical team to provide comprehensive nutrition support for our acute, and long-term care residents.
