About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian for an Assisted Living Communities. Consultant would be responsible for quarterly onsite visits to complete food safety and sanitation audit, meal/dining observation audit, and any nutrition referrals for high-risk residents. Averaging 14 hours quarter or 4-5 hours a month. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs. Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
Licensed (if required by State)
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to represent our company in a professional manner
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others

Nice To Haves

2 years of consulting experience
Experience in Long Term Care
clinical nutrition: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Complete food safety and sanitation audit
Complete meal/dining observation audit
Complete nutrition referrals for high-risk residents
Provide nutrition education
Work on an MDS with the team
Formulate nutrition assessment with input from dining manager
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff
Assist with policy development
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems
