About The Position

Monte Nido is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to float among multiple Southern California sites, including adolescent residential programs in Calabasas and Agoura Hills and an adult residential program in Agoura Hills. The Registered Dietitian is a critical member of the leadership and clinical teams and routinely collaborates with all disciplines to support optimal client care. Nutrition programming is grounded in health, freedom from eating-disordered behaviors, and developmentally appropriate progress toward self-trust and internally directed eating. The HAES-informed approach recognizes that healthy, recovered people come in all shapes and sizes; all bodies deserve nourishment and satiety; care should focus on behaviors rather than weight; weight-loss attempts and focus are contraindicated in eating disorder recovery; and food environments should be open and accessible in a homelike setting.
