About The Position

East Bank Club is seeking a motivated Registered Dietitian to provide individualized nutrition counseling to members in a luxury health club environment. This is an appointment-based, commission-only temporary position designed for a dietitian who wants schedule flexibility while building a nutrition practice within the club. Compensation is 70% commission on collected revenue for eligible nutrition services personally provided; for bundled programs involving multiple departments, commission is based on the designated nutrition portion. Commission is paid on completed and collected eligible services under EBC payroll policies.

The schedule is expected to include approximately 8–12 hours of availability per week, with two afternoon/evening availability blocks and/or one weekend day. Recommended availability is Monday and Wednesday from 3:30–7:30 p.m. and/or one weekend day. Schedule and availability may change based on member demand, and unbooked time may be closed according to EBC scheduling guidelines. Additional hours may be added as the client base grows. No minimum number of paid hours or appointments is guaranteed; the dietitian may leave rather than remain onsite when appointments are not booked.

The role provides members with consistent access to nutrition services while allowing the schedule to flex with demand. The dietitian is expected to help develop demand and grow the business within the club; success is measured primarily by revenue and member engagement generated through nutrition services, rather than time spent onsite.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentialed to practice in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage member caseloads and conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments.
• Develop tailored nutrition care plans, monitor progress, and adjust recommendations as appropriate.
• Create practical, personalized nutrition strategies based on members’ goals.
• Provide nutrition guidance related to general wellness, performance, weight management, healthy aging, and lifestyle.
• Conduct follow-up appointments and maintain accurate, timely client documentation.
• Provide professional, responsive member service consistent with the EBC experience, taking time to understand each member rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
• Build strong relationships with EBC members and convert introductory appointments into ongoing nutrition relationships.
• Collaborate with Fitness departments and other fitness and wellness professionals when appropriate.
• Develop a referral network within EBC and promote nutrition services through appropriate member interactions.
• Actively build the EBC client base through excellent service, member referrals, follow-up, and ongoing client conversion.
• Manage tasks while onsite and take responsibility for the schedule and member communication.
