About The Position
Hemingford Community Care Center is hiring a Full-Time Registered Dietitian to support residents in Hemingford, Nebraska. This role is ideal for a clinician who values autonomy, collaboration, and the opportunity to influence outcomes through nutrition. You'll work closely with care teams to deliver thoughtful, compliant, and individualized nutrition services in a skilled nursing setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited dietetics program (ACEND/CADE approved)
- Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Active state licensure in Nebraska.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams

- Experience in long-term care or clinical nutrition
Responsibilities
- Provide nutrition services across Hemingford Community Care Center
- Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and document findings in the electronic medical record
- Develop and adjust care plans based on clinical data, including labs, weight trends, intake, and diagnoses
- Deliver nutrition education to residents, families, and staff
- Partner with nursing, therapy, and leadership teams to support resident outcomes
- Maintain compliance with CMS, federal, and Nebraska state regulations
- Support multiple locations as needed, with flexibility built into scheduling
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts and survey readiness
