About The Position

Amplify Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist who is passionate about patient education, chronic disease prevention, and making a difference in the lives of underserved populations. This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional clinical care and build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The role involves providing medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and individualized nutrition counseling, conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments, developing care plans, and supporting patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. The dietitian will track patient progress, adjust nutrition plans, partner with primary care providers and care teams, participate in case reviews and population health initiatives, and contribute nutrition expertise to chronic disease management programs. Additionally, the role includes leading nutrition education sessions and group classes, promoting healthy lifestyle changes and disease prevention, and supporting community outreach and health promotion activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited program.
  • Completion of a dietic internship with an accredited program.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a clinical, outpatient, community health, or hospital setting.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in North Carolina.
