About The Position

Nutritious Lifestyles is seeking a compassionate PRN Registered Dietitian (RDN) to provide nutrition care for patients in behavioral health settings. This role is ideal for RDNs/LDNs seeking supplemental income with a flexible PRN schedule while gaining valuable experience working with diverse behavioral health populations.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitians (RDNs) or Licensed Dietitian (LDN) Dietitians seeking flexible PRN opportunities and supplemental income.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nutrition assessments and medical nutrition therapy for patients with behavioral health conditions, including depression, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, and eating disorders.
• Develop nutrition care plans that support each patient's behavioral and medical needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure timely and appropriate nutrition interventions.
• Assist with eating precautions, calorie counts, supplement recommendations, and individualized treatment planning.
• Work with the Nutritious Lifestyles team to build a flexible schedule that supports both on-site and remote facility coverage.
