About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian for two Assisted Living Communities. Consultant would be responsible for quarterly onsite visits (8 hours total/4 hours each) to complete food safety and sanitation audit, meal/dining observation audit, and any nutrition referrals for high-risk residents. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs. Since our establishment in 1994, we have been nurturing joy through food with long-term care dining programs. Requirements

Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
Licensed (if required by State)
2 years of consulting experience is preferred, but we will consider many factors.
Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
Effectively prioritize multiple tasks
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Represent our company in a professional manner
Enjoy coaching and mentoring others
CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Responsibilities

Complete food safety and sanitation audit
Complete meal/dining observation audit
Complete nutrition referrals for high-risk residents
Provide nutrition education
Work on an MDS with the team
Formulate nutrition assessment with input from dining manager
Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices
Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff
Assist with policy development
Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems
