About The Position

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian for two Assisted Living Communities. Consultant would be responsible for quarterly onsite visits (8 hours total/4 hours each) to complete food safety and sanitation audit, meal/dining observation audit, and any nutrition referrals for high-risk residents. This position earns competitive pay depending on experience and current needs. Since our establishment in 1994, we have been nurturing joy through food with long-term care dining programs. We currently provide dietitian consulting and menu services to more than 4,000 healthcare communities across 49 states. Requirements

  • Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials
  • Licensed (if required by State)
  • 2 years of consulting experience is preferred, but we will consider many factors.
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
  • Effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Represent our company in a professional manner
  • Enjoy coaching and mentoring others
  • CDR # from ASCEND/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Required)
  • State License, if required for a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Complete food safety and sanitation audit
  • Complete meal/dining observation audit
  • Complete nutrition referrals for high-risk residents
  • Provide nutrition education
  • Work on an MDS with the team
  • Formulate nutrition assessment with input from dining manager
  • Provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Train and provide guidance to dining managers and staff
  • Assist with policy development
  • Monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems
