About The Position

Purcell Municipal Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee and assist with the daily operations of the department. This role involves managing food quality, patient meal service, and sanitation. The position also includes coordinating employee scheduling, payroll, orientation, and training. The Dietary Manager will lead initiatives to enhance processes, improve efficiency, serve customers, and maintain high employee morale. Responsibilities also extend to participating in budget planning and cost controls, providing leadership, and coordinating resources to ensure quality customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years supervisory experience in a related health care field
• Computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel or similar programs
• Strong professional communication, and interpersonal skills
• Take initiative for problem solving, decision making and managing employees
• Leadership skills and ability to foster an environment of teamwork, professionalism, customer satisfaction, high performance, and mutual respect of others.
• Minimum Associates Degree in food service or related field required
• Registered Dietetic Technician or Certified Dietary Manager required

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assists with the daily operations of the department food quality, patient meal service functions, and sanitation.
• Coordinates scheduling, payroll, orientation and training of all food service employees within the division of hospitality services.
• Supervises initiatives to improve processes, maximizes efficiency, serves internal and external customers, and maintains high employee morale.
• Participates in budget planning and cost controls.
• Provides leadership and coordinates resources to achieve quality customer satisfaction.
• Develop and evaluate policies and procedures.
